The CSO Marine Group has an extensive marine heritage, founded in offshore construction and renewables over the past two decades. Our extensive experience and track record now ranges from vessel design and concept origination, through to operational, technical and commercial advice and support to Charterers, Ship Owners and Investors alike.

We have a proven track record of success for our range of tier 1 and 2 clients, having been instrumental in some of the world’s largest offshore wind projects, as well as a far-reaching history of providing support to the oil and gas and alternative energy sectors.

With over 20 years’ experience in the renewables and offshore sectors, Tony heads up the CSO Marine Group.

He has been involved in the renewables industry since the installation of the Gabbard Project in the North Sea up to present day activities in the US, Far East and European Markets. Prior to working in the marine industry, Tony was active in the aviation and logistics industries, supporting range of projects in Africa and the Middle East.

Tony is active in all aspects of the CSO Marine Group, with his greatest value add being realised within our more challenging C1 level projects and client support activity.

After three years working in Maersk offices in Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Madrid and Buenos Aires, Sam relocated to London to work in offshore energy. With a focus on the chartering of vessels into the offshore construction and renewables markets ever since, Sam has a demonstrated track record in the chartering of OSVs, and alongside Tony, has developed CSO Shipbrokers into an industry-leading brokerage and market intelligence provider in the Offshore Wind Sector.

Sam also holds the position of Chief Operations Officer for CSO Marine Group, where his extensive market intelligence and brokerage experience has been vital for a range of large-scale strategic consultancy projects. Sam is also a volunteer on the Thames Estuary Lifeboat, where he works with the RNLI on rescue operations throughout the year.

Josh has more than 15 years’ experience in the offshore sector focused on operational delivery of projects and vessels in the most challenging environments. Having started his career as a Marine Engineer working across pleasure and commercial vessels, Josh has since held a variety of operational, technical and managerial roles, including Offshore Technician, Offshore Supervisor and Director of Operations.

During his career, Josh has been responsible for a fleet of 20+ vessels during the transition from Owner-Master to sole Ownership and management. His roles also covered ownership of the CTV Fleet, Offshore Project delivery and the UK’s first GWO Training centre as well as playing a vital role in international growth for the companies he worked within.

Specialising in technical design and naval architecture, Ruairí’s experience is supported by a strong practical understanding of marine operations.

Whilst working for the marine brand of Aston Martin as Lead Design Engineer and then Chartwell Marine as Head of Consultancy, Ruairí led projects ranging from the design of large commercial vessels, CTVs and full carbon fibre ocean racing boats, to independent pleasure boats, from concept to delivery.

With a Bachelor’s degree from Southampton Solent University, as well as experience in the commercial marine operations sector, Ruairí leads RMD in all aspects of the design and delivery of our naval architecture and structural design work.
